# One-leg stance
> Beginner · Static · Unilateral. Strength, balance
Also known as: Dulibu.

## Technique
1. Stand upright and shift your weight onto one leg
2. Raise the knee of the other leg at hip height, pointing the foot downward.
3. Raise the arm on the same side of the elevated leg straight toward the sky, wrist extended and palm up.
4. Keep the other arm flexed across the torso, hand with wrist extended with palm to the side as in protecting the side
## Form tips
* Keep your torso tall and your hips facing forward.
**Logging:** Work each side for the time indicated.
