Technique

  1. Stand on one leg with the other leg extended straight in front.
  2. Lower your hips approximately one-quarter of the way by bending the standing knee.
  3. Push through the heel to return to a full standing position.

Form tips

  • Keep the heel of the standing leg firmly planted.
  • Keep the non-working leg straight and lifted in front.
