Technique

  1. Begin by standing with feet shoulder-width apart, a Barbell resting across your upper back.
  2. Bend at the hips, leaning forward until your torso is parallel to the ground.
  3. Maintain a neutral spine as you bend forward, keeping the Barbell stable on your back.
  4. Return to the starting position by extending your hips and straightening up.

Form tips

  • Maintain a slight bend in your knees.
  • Engage your core muscles to support your back.
  • Keep your back straight, avoiding rounding or arching during the movement.
  • Control the descent and ascent, using a slow and controlled motion.
  • Focus on feeling the stretch in your Hamstrings and Glutes as you bend forward.
