# Single dumbbell snatch

## Technique
1. Begin standing with a weight on the floor in front of you.
2. Bend your knees, hinge at your hips, and grab the weight with one hand, palm facing your body.
3. With an explosive motion, extend your hips and knees, pulling the weight upward and all the way overhead in a single motion.
## Form tips
* Use the power from your hips and legs to generate momentum for lifting the weight.
**Logging:** Weight used on one side. Repetitions done on one side.
