Technique
- Lying on your back (supine position), extend your arms from the shoulders with palms facing up and a small distance away from the hips.
- Allow the legs and feet to relax into position with the toes facing slightly outward, and about hip width or slightly wider.
- Rest the head on the center of the back of the head.
- Release any tension from head to toes and take rest.
Form tips
- Adjust the shoulder blades underneath you so that you have space between the ears and shoulders, and feel like you can breathe fully into the chest with each inhale.
- Release any tension from the shoulders, hips, belly, arms and legs.
- Soften the jaw.
- Allow the breath to find a natural, soft rhythm.
