Technique

  1. Begin standing with a Barbell or small weights held overhead, arms fully extended.
  2. Step forward into a lunge while keeping the weight held overhead.
  3. Lower your body until both knees are at a 90-degree angle, then push back up to the starting position.
  4. Return the front foot to meet the back foot and repeat the lunge on the opposite side.

Form tips

  • Maintain an upright torso throughout the movement.
  • Ensure your front knee is aligned with your toes when stepping forward.
Logging: Weight used on one side. Repetitions done on one side.
