Technique
- The base begins in a wide-stance squat.
- The flyer places the feet in the base’s Hip pockets, the crest between the thigh and hip where a trouser pocket would sit.
- To exit, the flyer places the hands on top of the base’s shoulders and steps down behind the base.
Form tips
- The base keeps the feet wider than the hips and the knees bent to about 90 degrees to make a strong, shelf-like platform, engaging the Glutes.
- The flyer can rest the hands on top of the base’s shoulders to help themselves up and down.
