Technique

  1. Stand on one leg on a low step with the other leg straight in front, holding a weight in both hands
  2. Bend your standing knee and lift your heel to lower yourself partially toward the ground until the other heel lightly touches the floor.
  3. Return to the upright position by extending the knee

Form tips

  • Push your knee forward while leaning back, keeping your torso aligned with your thighs.
  • Avoid bending at the hips.
