Technique
- From a Straddle handstand position, tilt the hips slightly to create a diagonal in the Straddle position. Keep the legs tense and pulled in towards the body, so that your legs and hips don’t drift too far out.
- Lift the support hand and immediately place it next to the base hand. Stabilize a neutral Straddle position.
- Tilt the hips in the opposite direction as in step 2, so the other hand is now the base hand. Lift the support hand briefly and place it in a standard width handstand position. Stabilize a neutral Straddle position.
- Repeat this side walk by alternating walking the hands together into a narrow position and back to a normal width position. Make sure to practice walking both directions.
